Snow Covered Winter Breckenridge Engagement Photos
Colorado gave us some dynamic weather this early February for these Winter Breckenridge engagement photos. An exceptional amount of snow fell early in the week, but it was quickly followed with warm, sunny weather! This engagement session took place in the warm sun with the beautiful, snow capped mountains of summit county for our backdrop. Brittany and Steve both touch on our adventurous side, but they also share our deep passion for the ocean. They actively play in the mountains and participate in both snowboarding and skiing. Its this Colorado "anchor" that keeps us in the state we love, but its the ocean that drives us wild with excitement.
Fellow divers in love
Brittany and Steve are part of our extended family at Denver Divers. Our local dive shop and community of fellow travelers that love the ocean and the wonder it holds. The dive shop is very much a second home to us as both my husband and I are active instructors. It's our involvement there that has pushed us to explore the world and we are honored to photograph this couple on their special day. A majority of the photographs were taken near Sapphire point through knee deep snow. Our couple brought their Goldendoodle, Sage. Whom is a popular friend we see at Denver Divers and is a hit with the families and children she plays with. She wasted no time making friends with other dogs as we wondered around the trail.
Our session then moved on to Breckenridge to enjoy some brews and continue with our shoot in a town setting. We love couples that are game to try new things. Also ones that are patient enough to stand out in the freezing cold so we can play with new lighting techniques. Brittany and Steve were no exception. They allowed us to conclude our shoot with a rather brief - but chilly evening session where we got to play with off-camera flash. We eagerly anticipate the upcoming wedding of this fantastic couple on a sunny beach in Mexico!
