Romantic same sex wedding at The Boulder Creek Wedgewood.
Do you ever get so swept up in what is happening around you that you completely lose track of all reality outside of what you are experiencing at that moment? That happened to me during this romantic same sex wedding at The Boulder Wedgewood. Because some weddings just carry me away like that and I get caught up in the setting, the exhilaration and feelings surrounding the couple and the reaction of the family and friends. Allyson and Aurora’s wedding was one of these weddings. The atmosphere was filled with fun loving excitement and deeply caring love. So I found myself laughing and crying over and over again during this romantic same sex wedding at Boulder Wedgewood.
A warm, bright fall day with the sunlight shimmering through the canopy of trees.
Reflecting light off the laughing creek that ran beside the ceremony site softly singing natures background soundtrack. Both brides are absolutely luminous. I love seeing the personality of each bride reflected in their separate look! Allyson in her backless lace gown chose to hold a bouquet and Aurora in a long sleeved beaded bodice gown opted for a flower crown. Although each woman is uniquely different, they share something deep and personal that glows all around them.
Because only a fun wedding would play Beyonce’s Love on Top during the processional. From there, the ceremony flowed with emotion. And the overwhelming love and support just radiated from family and friend. They laugh, cheer, and wiped away heartfelt tears. My favorite moment during the ceremony was when Aurora read her vows to Allyson’s son promising to love and take care of him as her own and support all of his hobbies. That was one over the moon little boy! Showered with lipstick kisses and loving embraces. What a great way to start a life together!
