The summer of 2014 has been incredibly special for me.  Beautiful weather and time with friends and family have happened often – I am so very fortunate to know such wonderful people.

Chanel and Jason – both school teachers surrounded themselves with their closest family, friends, and fellow educators and made lifetime promises to each other.

Located at the edge of the Colorado Foothills, the Willow Ridge Manor was host to a beautiful wedding in the Colorado sun.  The wedding was simple, yet elegant, and featured colored hints of navy, grey, and pink.

Though I have photographed countless weddings, I always take something special away from each one.  Jason’s genuine reaction to seeing his bride Chanel for the first time was of special significance.  The life adventure we spend with our significant others is filled with both joy and sorrow and will always have its challenges.  Remembering moments like this always seems to guide us to our true north.  I was privileged enough to catch this moment on camera and share it with the world as my featured image for this very special wedding.
