Exquisite Ritz Carlton Wedding
A Little Bit of Heaven Family Wedding
George Bernard Shaw said: “A happy family is but an earlier heaven.” This wedding, based around family, was most definitely a little bit of heaven. Indeed, an exquisite Ritz Carlton Wedding! A relaxed mix of high style and the comfy touches of home all coordinated by planner Christa Adkins. No better venue than the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch to provide this kind of ambience. Happy sunflowers that welcomed guests done by Petals and Pours, seemed to reflect the love and joy surrounding this wonderful family.
Angela and Mike wanted their children to be an important part of this special day. A glowing Angela, in her stunning Ines Disanto gown, was walked in on the arm of her son who proudly escorted her down the aisle. Mike’s beautiful daughter was every bit the attentive bridesmaid taking care of Angela’s dress. Even the family dog got in the act filling in as the flower girl at this exquisite Ritz Carlton wedding. Following the first dance, the traditional parent dance with a parent/child dance.
Taking the shots on the mountainside with this family was so much fun with them walking together holding each other’s hands. They weren’t stiff and formal poising for the camera – they were just genuinely enjoying each other’s company and being a family. In fact, one of my favorites is the shot of Angela and Mike with the children with the quintessential Colorado azure sky backdrop. It’s as if they are looking forward to their future as a new family. I hope their future is going to be pretty much as Mr. Shaw described – as close to heaven on earth as one can come.
