A picture is worth a thousand words, and for pet owners Brenna and Ryan, their dogs Roy and Guinness are more than just pets—they are cherished family members. To celebrate their deep bond and the enchanting location that holds special meaning in their hearts, they decided to embark on a dog portrait session in the picturesque town of Crested Butte, Colorado. is a quaint and vibrant mountain town that exudes charm and natural beauty. Renowned for its stunning landscapes, majestic peaks, and endless outdoor recreational opportunities. It's no wonder that Brenna and Ryan chose this location for their dog portrait session.

Crested Butte holds significant importance for Brenna and Ryan. It was in this idyllic town where they have made countless memories together. Exploring the vibrant trails with their dogs, Roy and Guinness, became a beloved pastime for the couple. Therefore, selecting Crested Butte as the backdrop for their dog portrait session was a natural choice, allowing them to encapsulate their shared history and the essence of their bond with their furry children.

Roy and Guinness, two lively and lovable canines, have been constants in Brenna and Ryan's lives. Good Boy Roy is a chill cucumber with THE softest fur EVER! I just want to snuggle him nonstop! He is extremely patient with his sister Guinness. She is a herding dog, driven, sweet, smart. She constantly squashes Roy, does everything a full speed with her whole heart. While the main focus of the shoot was Good Boy Roy, we made time for Guinness to shine.

On the day of the portrait session, the Crested Butte landscape painted a breathtaking backdrop with rolling meadows, colorful wildflowers, and majestic mountain peaks. It also happens to be a location close to our hearts as well, Adam and I were married in Crested Butte. The fact that this location means so much to all of us, made this morning extra special.
