Heidi and Jessie’s wedding touches more on my nostalgic side, which is a strong connection I make between my personal life and work. These are some of the thoughts and memories I had for this beautiful day that fill me with nostalgia
The Holy Ghost Church is an excellent place to have a Catholic wedding. Within its walls is a beautiful space filled with intricate detail, beautiful light, and is steeped with history and tradition making it an absolute joy to photograph and revel upon later.
Of course there is also the man in uniform… Jessie is both the strong and courageous groom that also shows affection while being obliging and polite to his beautiful bride.
The most endearing moment for me was shared between our Heidi and her mother. Shortly after dawning the dress and veil Heid embraced her mom and for a moment time stood still and you could feel the emotion radiating between them. It was such a powerful moment, the bond between a mother and daughter and a sweet, fleeting instant I alone was there to witness.
This wedding, although very nostalgic, had a flare of adventure and a touch of stylish sophistication with this beautiful blush wedding gown made by Allure. Its a gorgeous wedding dress and its complimented perfectly with a stunning bouquet from Newberry Brothers. Heidi has amazing taste!
